Bilingual Teacher/Interventionist – Center Based​ - Full Time

Plan, coordinate and implement the curriculum for three components of the Relief Nursery child abuse prevention program, including therapeutic early childhood classroom, home visitation, and parent education.  Conduct regular home visits with enrolled families and provide child development and parenting information.  Provide twice-weekly classroom experience for enrolled children, planning & implementing curriculum in accordance with Relief Nursery guidelines.  Other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Program Director.

Requirements:

  1. Education & Experience: Associates degree in early childhood education, child development or related field, or attainment of Professional Development Registry level 4, and minimum two years’ experience in an early childhood program.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Exceptions to these requirements may be made with a one-year Professional Development & Training Plan in place.
  2. Must speak and write both Spanish & English fluently.
  3. Maintain enrollment in the State Central Background Registry.
  4. Must have reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license for state of residency, and have a driving record permitting coverage under the corporate liability policy.  If driving a personal vehicle for work purposes must also have and maintain personal auto liability coverage.
  5. All work performed must be in alignment with the philosophy, mission and values of Family Tree Relief Nursery.
  6. Exhibit dependability, flexibility, punctuality and strong time management skills.
  7. Demonstrate emotional maturity and stability.
  8. Must attend or have record of recent training of mandatory reporting and demonstrate basic knowledge of child maltreatment indicators and prevention of abuse.
  9. Have or obtain, and maintain, pediatric CPR/First Aid training and valid food handler’s card.

Program Assistant (Lebanon) - Bilingual Spanish Preferred - Full Time

Assists the Family Support Specialists with implementation of developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years enrolled in therapeutic early childhood program; serves food from pre-planned USDA menus; performs routine cleaning and maintenance in classrooms, office and bus.  Assists Family Support Specialists on home visits as needed.  Drives FTRN bus; writes bus routes and other miscellaneous bus paperwork. Calls TECP waitlist clients monthly and provides them with needed supplies. Other duties and tasks as assigned by TECP Supervisor.

Requirements:

  1. Education & Experience:  Completed at least 10 semester credits or 15 quarter credits in early childhood education or child development AND minimum six months’ teaching experience in a comparable group setting with the assigned age group.  Maintain enrollment in the state Central Background Registry.

Family Support Specialist - Lincoln County Self Sufficiency Program - Full Time

Provide program information, resource/referral assistance, crisis intervention and ongoing access to support services to families involved with Self Sufficiency through the Department of Human Services (DHS) in collaboration with Community Services Consortium.  Assist families in removing barriers for family stability, such as accessing affordable housing, child care, employment services, alcohol and drug recovery support services, mental health services, basic parenting assistance, and other community agencies.  Complete documentation needed at intake and ongoing service provision.  Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Directors.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Experience: must have Associate’s degree or higher (Bachelor’s preferred) in human services, early childhood education, child development or related field and minimum two years experience with high risk population, support and recovery services, parent education or early childhood development and/or education.  Exceptions to these qualifications may be made with a one-year Professional Development & Training Plan in place. 
  2. Maintain enrollment in the State Central Background Registry.
  3. Maintain an acceptable driving record permitting coverage under the corporate liability policy, valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance while employed at Family Tree Relief Nursery.  All employees driving for work purposes, regardless of whether driving a personal or agency vehicle, must complete the agency’s driving approval process before they drive for work.
  4. All work performed must be in alignment with the philosophy, approach and mission of Family Tree Relief Nursery.
  5. Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, punctuality and good time management skills.
  6. Sufficient maturity and good judgment to function in crisis situations.
  7. Must attend or have record of recent training on mandatory reporting and demonstrate basic knowledge of child maltreatment indicators and prevention of abuse.
  8. Must have or obtain, and maintain, first aid and CPR certification.

Child Care Coordinator - Part Time

Provides child care for families attending Relief Nursery parent groups and classes; hires, monitors & oversees additional child care workers to ensure sufficient coverage; arranges and if necessary, transports children & parents to classes using Relief Nursery’s bus. 

Requirements:

  1. Education & Experience:  Completed at least 10 semester credits or 15 quarter credits in early childhood education or child development AND minimum six months’ teaching experience in a comparable group setting with the assigned age group.  Exceptions may be made with a one-year Professional Development Plan in place.  (Preferred: Education and experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers)
  2. Maintain enrollment in the State Central Background Registry.
  3. Must have reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license for state of residency, and have a driving record permitting coverage under the corporate liability policy.  If driving a personal vehicle for work purposes must also have and maintain personal auto liability coverage.

Child Care Aide - Part Time

Provides child care for families attending Relief Nursery parent groups and classes.  Other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisors or Child Care Coordinator.=

Requirements for Aide I & II:

  1. Evidence of emotional maturity and stability.
  2. Physical ability to lift and carry children plus good physical stamina.
  3. Dependability, flexibility, and punctuality.
  4. Valid Food Handler’s card.
  5. Basic knowledge of child maltreatment indicators and prevention of abuse.
  6. Minimum age 15 years.
  7. All work performed must be in alignment with the philosophy, mission and values of Family Tree Relief Nursery.

Additional requirements for Aide II:

  1. Education & Experience:  Completed at least 10 semester credits or 15 quarter credits in early childhood education or child development AND minimum six months’ teaching experience in a comparable group setting with the assigned age group.
  2. Preferred: Education and experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
  3. Maintain enrollment in the state Background Central Registry.
  4. Current CPR/1st aid certification.
