Family Tree’s annual Diaper Drive has wrapped up (we'll still take diaper and wipe donations though!)  And we collected over 25,000 diapers becuase of incredible community support.  Our diaper closet is overflowing!

Last year because of community support we were able to collect over 18,000 and this year we beat that so thank you so much!   How you all came together and donated humbles us all.

We want to thank those who partnered with us in many different ways.  Thank you to:

What's Cooking in Lebanon

Family Tree has been serving families in Lebanon, Oregon since 2009. We started with a  playgroup. A Family Tree teacher met with three local moms and their children once a week. Since then we have grown to serve over 20 Lebanon families. This fall we will offer both a toddler and preschool classroom at the Green Acres School.

Thanks to a wonderful partnership with the Lebanon school district we are able to operate in a school were many families are already bringing older brothers and sisters. Very soon, thanks to an award by OFD Foods, we will also have a school bus... Read more

Snack Pack Program

All of our young students go home with snack-pack backpacks every other week. This backpack program has been sponsored by OFD Foods as well as the Corvallis High School Z Club.

Children in our classroom program attend class two mornings a week. While they are with us they eat a snack when they arrive and get lunch before going home in the afternoon. Many of our Family Tree Families struggle to provide nutritious dinners during the week. In addition to food offered through our food bank, we send snack-pack back packs home with the children.

The food makes a big difference... Read more

Nurturing Families

“Volunteerism is enabling us to do our work. Without volunteers, our programs wouldn’t be as successful and our intensive, focused work with children and families wouldn’t be happening,” says Marie Jennings, director of development for the Family Tree Relief Nursery in Albany.

The goal of the private, nonprofit Family Tree Relief Nursery is to keep families across Linn County together, keep them safe, and keep children out of foster care.  Last year, 98% of the families in the program stayed together and the children were kept out of foster care.... Read more

Classes are only held a couple of times a week at Family Tree Relief Nursery, but according to the staff, the attachments kids form with their teachers are strong.

Bethany Simpson started bringing her daughter Brooklyn to class last summer.

“I’ve really seen my daughter grow,” Simpson said. “... Read more
