Position: Childcare Program - Part-time

Summary: Provide childcare for children whose parents are participating in the Parent Education Program. Provides a classroom program to children from infants to age 12 years that promote healthy role modeling of a strength-based approach and is relevant to the child development needs. Classroom curriculum is a respite opportunity for parents and children, offering social and emotional development for children on the caseload in accordance with Family Tree Relief Nursery mission, policies, and philosophy of the Relief Nursery.

Position: Family Support Specialist - Parent Education Facilitator - Full-time

Summary: The Family Support Specialist assists families that are referred by the Department of Human Services Self Sufficiency and community referrals, to remove barriers to improve family stability with the purpose of increasing family self-sufficiency. Assistance includes informing families of community resources and supporting accessing services by attending appointments and completion of documentation. Provide eight-week parent education class using Nurturing Parenting curriculum in three cities (Albany, Corvallis, and Lebanon) on rotation for referrals from DHS self-sufficiency.

Position: Family Support Specialist - Home Visitor - Full-time

Summary: The Family Support Specialist assists families that are referred by the Department of Human Services Self Sufficiency and community referrals, to remove barriers to improve family stability with the purpose of increasing family self-sufficiency. Assistance includes informing families of community resources and supporting accessing services by attending appointments and completion of documentation. Oversee and support a client support group for clients that have completed parent education class for further support. The support group will offer participants an opportunity to develop their skills, and begin to mentor and support others newer to the group.
